Firms need to defend themselves against cyber-attacks

With the migration of businesses to the network, the number of cyber-attacks has increased. This is a huge challenge and a threat to companies, which must include higher expenses for data protection in their budgets, including employee education, know-how, strategy, and infrastructure.
Companies are increasingly opting for outsourcing. According to a study by Polcom, as much as 57 percent of firms have plans to implement cloud solutions in order to enhance the security of their IT resources and ensure the continuity of their business operations.
Security incidents are often the result of human error
Analyses show that not only large enterprises and corporations are exposed to hacker attacks, but also the SME sector. Therefore, companies must find a solution that effectively protects them against diverse cybercrimes, including DDoS attacks, defacement, malware, ransomware, and phishing. Furthermore, a significant portion of the attacks stems from human error.
According to Stanisław Borkowski, Director of the Security and Quality Division, such a high number of cyber threats can be further compounded by the introduction of a hybrid work model. Companies are noticing a gap in employee education and awareness, and according to data from Altkom Akademia, there has been a recent 170% increase in interest in cybersecurity training. Furthermore, as reported by GData, global financial investments in cybersecurity education are projected to increase by a staggering 218.5% by 2026.
