Dowiedz się więcej

New technologies are currently an integral trend of doing business. No wonder as they provide a significant boost for development for companies, even in difficult times resulting from an economic crisis. It is predicted that in 2023 it will be digital technologies that will be the main driving factor for the activities of many organization.

Opportunity to development

Digitalization is a change that cannot be stopped. According to report published by Polcom and Intel in cooperation with Computerworld “IT investment in the times of crisis. Cloud and new technologies. Perspective for 2022-2023”, half of the surveyed companies have already implemented innovative solutions, and another 26 percent plan to implement them within the next three years. 88 percent of the interviewed firms believe that modern IT solutions will become an opportunity for them to progress and gain the necessary competitive advantages to function in the market.

Digitalization and security

Technologies closely related to aspect of the cybersecurity have gained importance in recent years. However, their development carries the risk of increased attempts at cyber-attacks, which can lead to loss of crucial data, disruption in operations and ultimately negatively impact the company image.

Therefore, there is noticeable trend towards investing in security-related services. The SOC (Security Operation Center) tool is gaining importance, allowing for monitoring of IT infrastructure to detect and mitigate suspicious traffic early, which poses a potential threat to the organization.

Cloud in the context of digitalization

In the recent years, cloud migration has become one of the most important trends in the field of business technology. Why? Because it enables companies to store and process large amounts of data in a more efficient manner, allowing for faster and easier decision-making.

Cloud computing guarantees not only scalability, efficiency and flexibility but also raises the level of security of corporate resources, helps optimize investment costs, and has positive impact on the processes carried out within the company.

Skillful use of huge resources – data – collected by companies, including in the cloud, has allowed for the optimization of enterprise work and business management to reduce the negative consequences of this situation – says Dr. Maciej Kawecki, Vice Rector of WSB in Warsaw and President of the Lem Institute.
