Polaris Polska is a part of an American concern Polaris Industries Inc. established in 1954 which deals with designing, producing and sales of modern, high-quality off-road vehicles, snowmobiles and motorcycles as well as electric and hybrid road vehicles. Polaris is one of the world sales leaders in the industry. Yearly, it achieves a net income of around USD 172.5 MLN. It employs around 12,000 workers altogether. The production plant in Opole is one and only production plant of off-road vehicles located in Europe.
